'I am returning the favour’ - Rema on Namulondo being called her ‘Kadama’

Rema said there is a time she couldn't afford transport and Namulondo would pony up the Boda Boda fees.

Now that she is doing okay, she said, it's time to give Namulondo a treat.

She also told people to stop looking at Namulondo as her housegirl just because she is offering to help.

"Eve can sacrifice even when he has little to offer," said Rema in a recent interview.

"What pains me is that people abuse her... they see her carrying my child, and they make it look bad.

"Can't you lift a friend's baby? They call her Rema's housegirl... because they saw her carrying my baby... We are no longer just friends, she is my sister.

"People are really bad... can't a friend do something for me?... Do they know where we've come from... We've been through a lot, hitching Bodas and she would pay for me.

"So, when I tell her, let's fly outside... why should I leave her behind. She was there for me, it's my turn to pay back."

Evelyn Namulondo recently said she met Rema Namakula when she was still under Bebe Cool’s record label Gagamel Crew.

When she was still recently to comment on people who call her Rema’s housegirl, she said: "Uh, it's okay... who doesn't want to be Rema's Kadama? Do you know who Rema is?... Do you understand Rema?

"Rema is a high-value individual. But I let people talk about whatever they feel. Like I told you, you can say anything but you can't change me, as long as there's want I'm aiming at."
