The Sitya Danger hitmaker went on the defensive after some supporters of the leading opposition party National Unity Platform, or NUP, took to social media to say he had betrayed them.
They had reasons to suspect that Alien Skin had switched sides to the ruling NRM party, yet they had supported him when he staged an impromptu concert in June.
His concert was masterminded by, among others Abitex -- who saw an opportunity after the singer was slapped by Pallaso.
Abitex, on top of hating the Mayanja family which Pallaso is part of, wasn't on good terms with Balaam Barugahara, who is an avid supporter of the ruling government.
With Barugahara involved in Pallaso's show, some NUP supporters saw an opportunity to punish him for supporting the government.
But Alien Skin made it clear that their support shouldn't be politically motivated because he has never signed an agreement with anyone.
"Did I tell anyone that I came from Firebase [Bobi Wine's record label]?… I just love Bobi Wine as an individual... but there are these dogs around him. I'm also on top. And I've achieved everything I've through my own sweat," he said in a live TikTok session.
"I've not recorded any song from Fire Recordz [Bobi Wine's studio] and I've not collaborated with any Firebase artiste.
"I want someone to come out and tell me how I betrayed them. As who? What betrayal?... What did I promise you that you are demanding?"
Alien Skin said that during the promotion of his concert, Abitex suggested that he meets Bobi Wine but he refused.
He said he didn't want to meet Bobi Wine so people could think he wanted to "use him to promote my show."
That the promoters also suggested meeting Pastors like Wilson Bugembe and Aloysius Bugingo, but he refused.
"I know where I'm going. Because I believe in myself," he said.
He said he doesn't want to be seen as serving anyone's interests besides his.
