Eddie Sendi said he has never hired Bebe Cool for Shs15 million.

Recently while castigating promoters, whom he said disrespect musicians, Cool revealed that when Sendi tried to hire him for a show, he demanded Shs15 million.

He said the reason for spiking the hiring fees was because Sendi, who is a radio presenter and music analyst, is always bashing him on his show and during media appearances.

However, Sendi noted that they negotiated and harmonised on an amount less than 15m.

Bebe Cool was hired to perform at Georgina Gardens Hotel located along Lubya Hill Road in Kampala. While Cool claimed that Sendi was tasked by the hotel’s owner, George Mutebe, to hire him, Sendi dismissed this.

He said Mutebe has never told him to hire Bebe Cool to perform at his hotel.

Cool, who has longstanding beef with Sendi, said he doesn’t like the fact that he is always underrating him.

Sendi has previously said that Jose Chameleone deserves to be hired for a higher fee than Bebe Cool.

When Sendi came to him, Bebe said, he told him to go and hire Chameleone. Bebe later called Chameleone to tell him to double the amount he usually charges if Sendi comes to him.

In January, events promoter Bajjo announced what he termed as standard rates for hiring fees and put Bebe Cool at Shs1 million, rating him below younger artistes like Azawi, Fik Fameica and Grenade Official.
