"I gave Bebe Cool land... near my home... is he a woman? Is Bebe Cool a woman? I love him, he is my friend... I always liked Bebe Cool. He would come to my place," Bukenya said in a video seen by this reporter.
Former Vice President Prof. Gilbert Bukenya revealed that he gave free land to Bebe Cool, real name Moses Ssali, after being bombarded with questions on why he is generous with women.

The former vice president, who has had an unapologetic party life, has always been close to female musicians, with some being romantically linked to him and he wanted to show that he relates with male musicians, too.
Bukenya has been romantically linked to songstresses Sheila Nvannungi and Karole Kasita and he has also been pictured having a great time with musicians Desire Luzinda, Kapa Cat, and Spice Diana.
The relationship that caught a lot of public attention was that with Iryn Namubiru who even sang a song in honour of his mother.
"Iryn loved my mother a lot. She even used to visit her a lot six months before her death... she sang the song because she saw me supporting my mother who was in a wheelchair and couldn't walk. I was helping her exercise to regain some energy... and she told me, you love your mom. And I told her there is nothing I love more than my mother. And that's how the song came about," said Bukenya in a recent interview.
"I love it a lot... I have taken long without seeing her, but I know she is there and I pray she stays safe."
The song, which was produced by Paddy Man, is titled Nabulo, the last name of Bukenya's mother, Francisca Nabulo, who died in 2012 at the age of 87.

The professor, who was the seventh vice president of Uganda, serving from May 23, 2003, to May 23, 2011, was pictured with the songstress in awkward positions several times, and in 2011 he attended her concert and bought her music CD at Shs2 million.
