I’ll lift you myself - Kasuku warns Kats ahead of Cindy, Sheebah showdown

Media personality Kasuku said he won’t give MC Kats a chance to pull stunts at the Sheebah versus Cindy music battle as he did at Geosteady’s concert.

“Katamba, don't dare come to the stage,” said Kasuku who is among the people involved in organising the Sheebah versus Cindy music battle that is set for Friday, September 15 while appearing on NBS After 5.

“I'm telling Katamba early enough, the way I love money, if he dares touch the microphone, I will lift him myself.”

The likelihood of MC Kats featuring at the show which will be held at Kololo Airstrip in Kampala is high, as he works for Next Media, and some of the entities under the media conglomerate are among partners in organising the highly-anticipated music showdown.

For long Cindy Sanyu had wanted to face off with Sheebah Karungi and the opportunity has finally been granted thanks to Karungi’s relationship with Victoria University.

Over the years, multiple organisations and music promoters had tried to convince the two to face off in a battle but Sheebah was unyielding. Cindy was also unwilling to battle other singers because she deemed them younger than her or looked up to them. One of the singers that had been suggested to face off with her was Winnie Nwagi whom she rejected, saying their styles are different.

Some of the past music battles have been between Bobi Wine and Jose Chameleone, Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool, Bebe Cool and Goodlyfe Crew, Herman Basudde and Livingstone Kasozi.
