“One thing that I can tell you pole, pole [slowly], simama Kwanza [stand first], tunakwongereya sana [We congratulate you very much][, bintu ana rudisha [things have returned]. You understand that! I mean, taking slow [sic], be calm, don't panic, you know, we are not related, to be panicking what am I on? But anyway we are fine, hope everyone is fine, we all want to win... I'm no longer your grade. I upgraded.”
In November, Bad Black said she was planning to leave the country because she was broke.
But before leaving, she planned to first consult with President Yoweri Museveni and see if he still wanted her around.
"I'm so busy. I'm planning to seek asylum. Uganda is becoming tough. The country is so broke," Bad Black said in an interview.
Asked if she understands the asylum process, she said: "I don't know who is concerned, but I'll talk to President [Yoweri Museveni] to guide me on whether he still likes me as a citizen or he should export me to another country."
Bad Black’s humorous messages conveyed in broken English always stimulate memes on social media.
