TV personality Faridah Nakazibwe has said her relationship with Omar Ssali was the most toxic relationship she has ever been in.

Nakazibwe said in a recent interview that the relationship with the Dubai-based manual labourer was mired by blackmail and she had to keep the problems to herself because she had been betrayed before. True to her instincts, her breakup was popularised by her former workmate Justin Nameere through a series of social media posts. However, Nakazibwe said that the public learned about the split a year after it had happened.

"You reach a point and there are people watching you, and you now start trying so hard to look good [despite what you are going through]. But you find yourself with a partner who can't sympathise with you. So, they start taking advantage of the situation because they know you are worried about leaving. They take advantage of your vulnerability. Along the way, my relationship became extremely toxic... I may not tell you everything, [but] it was four years of a lot of toxicity,” she said.

"It affected me in so many ways... That was a terrible time for me. Nobody knew, not even my mother knew. Because a lot of rumuors had been spread about me. I kept a lot to myself... up to now, my mother doesn't know. It's only a few friends who I opened up to.”

According to Nakazibwe, Ssali, to whom she officially got engaged in 2016, used to tell her that he “could ruin her name” with just a single post on social media.

She said breaking up with him was her biggest achievement in the past five years.

Nakazibwe and her ex-husband initiated their conversation through Facebook, then he got her WhatsApp number. But it was when he flew into Kampala and went to NTV Uganda and insisted on meeting her that the relationship started taking shape. Nakazibwe had blocked him on WhatsApp, so he had to meet her physically.

She feels the relationship, which kicked off on a good note, got sour because the distance made it hard for her to study him.

Jackie Chandiru has released a 25-second teaser of the visuals of her new song titled I'll be Ok. According to the teaser, the video was directed by Aaronaire and produced by Artin Pro. Chandiru is working with Nyumba 256 music. In a recent interview she promised she won't disappoint in her upcoming album.

Winnie Nwagi has returned from the UK ahead of her concert on September 9.

The songstress was spotted with heavy luggage, prompting newsmen to ask if she had gone shopping but she said her concert clothes were being designed by local fashionistas. She appeared jolly and cheerful.

Angel Kwakunda has been mocked by her followers after she shared a video getting cozy with businessman Emmanuel Lwasa amid split rumors.

Followers jumped into the comment section to say it was the economy that had pushed her to return to her ex.

The couple has been spotted in various events together despite trading bizarre accusations months ago after a bitter split.

Lwasa insists he'll go on with his plans of wedding another woman.
