Internet is full of ‘cockroaches’, I've always supported Spice Diana - Bebe

Bebe Cool said people who attacked Spice Diana over her choice to perform at the Rukundo Egumeho concert where Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba was the guest of honour have mental issues.

"That was a very big mistake... Some of those are cockroaches... Most people pass through Kampala for the first time as they are going to Dubai,” said Cool in an interview, referring to Ugandans in the diaspora who were attacking Diana.

The Mbozi Za Malwa hitmaker said he was happy that Diana insisted that she would perform.

“Everyone is free to do what they want," Diana, real name Hajara Namukwaya said in an earlier interview when she was asked about her decision to perform at the event.

The Siri Regular singer came under fire from NUP fans because they felt she had betrayed them as she’s friends with Bobi Wine and his wife, Barbie.

On that, Cool said: "How do you tell a person like Spice Diana who has hustled her way to the top not to sing for a rich person?

"She has never been specific about who she supports. When she visits Bobi Wine, she talks to him like a fellow musician and a friend. When she is with Barbie, it's the friend of a wife.”

Cool reminded critics that he has always supported Diana, starting with when she asked for a music collabo and he turned her down.

"I've been pushing Spice Diana for so many years ever since she came to ask for a collabo,” said Cool, adding that he is the one who was tasked to pick musicians that would perform at the event.

"So, I call her to perform at my function and she refuses because she is Bobi Wine's friend?... Fellow Ugandans let's change how we think, and behave like kids,” said Cool.

"That's why I told you it takes time for the brain to mature... Even those criticizing her want the money.”

Rukundo Egumeho Thanksgiving concert was held on Wednesay.
