Irene Namatovu and Geofrey Lutaaya celebrate eight years in marriage

Irene Namatovu of the new Eagles Production Band has lived with fellow band member Geoffrey Lutaaya for over a decade and the couple are blessed with five children.

Traditionally, bronze or pottery was what couples would receive when celebrating eight years of marriage.

However, currently, linens and lace are also associated with the eighth marriage anniversary.

Eight years ago, on this very date and month, the couple got officially married as husband and wife in a glamorous event.

The couple exchanged their vows at St. John’s Church Kijabweni, Masaka, and then hosted their guests to a reception at their country home in Lutaaya’s home village in Miti ebiri, Kyotera, Rakai district.

The wedding attracted so many friends and well wishers from highend celebrities to ordinary folks and fans.

Today, the couple celebrates eight years of marriage and they shared the news about this marriage milestone on their social media platforms.

8 years ago, I and my better half said I do, we thank the Lord for this far He has brought us. We pray for more loving years together,” Irene Namatovu posted on her facebook page.

Geofrey Lutaaya is a renowned band musician who also turned politician representing the people of Kakuuto County in the 11th parliament.
