Joshua Baraka hired to perform at wedding of bride he’d fling with 2 days before

During an appearance on the Gen Z-hosted 'We Might Get Cancelled But... Podcast', Baraka shared a surprising story where he found himself performing at the wedding of a woman he had spent time with just two days earlier.

The Nana hitmaker, who refrained from explicitly stating that they had sex, recounted how it all started at a club in London. After exchanging pleasantries, things naturally progressed, leading them to spend the night together.

"We spent the night together, not in the way you guys think. [Laughs] But the night goes," he said, hinting at the events of the evening.

However, the Falling in Love singer was taken aback when he tried to initiate a conversation the following day, only to be met with silence. "Did I get finessed?" he wondered.

Baraka later discovered that the night they met was actually her bachelorette party. To his shock, the wedding was on Sunday in Uganda, and he had been hired to perform at the event. Even more surprising was that it was the bride herself who had arranged for him to perform.

"She was the bride, and the Friday I met her was her bachelorette party... Guess what, she's the one who booked me, bro?" he revealed.

When he saw her at the wedding, she simply smiled and waved at him. "I couldn't even be pissed, man! You've got to respect the game. If there's one thing you should do, you have to respect the game... Never hate the player, bro!" he said.

Baraka mentioned that they remain friends and admitted that during their night together, he had a feeling something was off because everything seemed too perfect.

This incident occurred before Baraka started dating his current girlfriend, Etania Ndagire, better known as Forever Etania. Their relationship became public earlier this year, although they had been together for some time.
