Kasita gave birth to a baby boy on January 4 but the father of her firstborn has remained a mystery.

At first, there were speculations that Feffe Bussi was the father since the two are said to have been romantically involved before.

In a recent media interview, Kasita said she doesn't have permission to reveal the baby daddy and it's him who will do it himself. She also said she prefers people focus on her music than her private business.

"When the father of the child wants to be known, he will reveal himself," Kasita said.

"I don't have permission to go around talking about him."

Asked if she is ashamed of him and if it's the reason she is keeping him private, she said: "I've always been private... I'll never make my private life public. It doesn't help. I don't want the public to focus on my private life instead of my music."

The dancehall star returned to the stage on Tuesday, March 7 when she performed at The Girls on Top Night.

She said she conceived the baby on her birthday and she didn't realise it until she missed her period.
