The YouTuber said he once studied in a Catholic-founded school run by Brothers and he used to admire how they were treated, especially their diet.

He had also grown up in a staunch Catholic family, so he grew to love what he saw at church.

The Talk and Show host, who made the revelation while appearing on NTV Uganda's Mwasuze Mutya, said his ambitions changed when he joined senior one and saw girls' breasts.

He then set his sights on becoming a lawyer until he finally decided to study journalism.

Kasuku, whose real name is Isaac Daniel Katende, was born in Bukoto, Kampala, but lost his parents at a young age and was raised by his grandmother and elder siblings.

Some of the schools he attended are Kabojja International School, St Mary's Kitende, Standard High School Zzana, Umcat School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and Makerere University.

For his media internship, he went to The Onion, which was under Pepper Publications, the company that also owned Kamunye and Red Pepper.

He worked for all three newspapers.

While at Red Pepper, he landed a gig to host a gossip show on Star TV with Ibrah Mukasa, whom he had also helped get a job at Red Pepper.

Due to management issues, Kasuku was sidelined after giving Mukasa another job, so he would give little time to work with him.

After some years, Prof. Joel Isabirye hired him to join Dembe FM, presenting a gossip segment on the morning show, and Talk and Talk Show was launched.

Monitor Publications, now under The Nation Media Group, later bought Dembe FM from Patrick Bitature.

He has also worked with Spark TV and runs a popular YouTube channel called Kasuku Live
