Leila jetted into the country last weekend and was welcomed by her boyfriend, who was joined at Entebbe International Airport by close friends and family.
In a long embrace, the couple smiled and appeared lost for words.
“You said there would be no cameras,” she whispered timidly in his ear, apparently surprised by the crew of vloggers who were present to capture her arrival.
Leila is an American-born young entrepreneur of Middle Eastern heritage.
Daily UG (real names Loukman Kaweesi) is one of the most revered Ugandans on TikTok with nearly two million followers.

His heart-wrenching videos on the platform depict a homeless poor young man striving to make ends meet on the streets of Kampala.
The two met online, through his TikTok live streams.
They have been dating for the past five months or so.
Daily Ug speaks of Leila as the love of his life. “She’s the one. She’s my one and only,” he muttered to the cameras as he waited for her arrival.
From the airport, the couple drove to Pearl of Africa Hotel where they have been staying.
Talking about how they met; Daily UG says they had become friends, and they became even closer after she encouraged him not to abandon his prayer livestream session.
Daily UG is proficient in the Arabic language and has had extensive training in the Quran since his school days.
During the last Ramadhan, he used to do daily prayer sessions on his livestream where he received a lot of gifts mostly from followers from the Middle East.
TikTok gifts can be converted into cash.
But after the holy month, his viewership went down and he decided to start streaming dancing sessions instead.
But Leila rebuked him and told him to resume the prayer sessions.
“She told me to do anything else but not stop the prayer streams,” he says.
The Tiktoker is also grateful to his lover for proving him with a lot of advice on business and entrepreneurship.
Aside from Tiktok, which is now his full-time job, he’s also into real estate, wherein he buys and sells plots of land.
Daily UG did not go far with his studies. After completing and passing Senior Four, he dropped out of school when his mother couldn't afford school fees.
When he was brought to Kampala, he joined the business of vending cheap jewelry. This business earned him the name ‘kabiri-abiri’ on the city streets. Earlier on he was involved in sand mining and collecting scrap.
The jewelry business, however, proved very lucrative and afforded him enough money to purchase equipment and start how now very successful TikTok account.
His girlfriend, Lelia when asked about her relationship with the Ugandan, didn't have much to say.
She said, however, that she was happy to be in Uganda and in Africa for the first time.
