The milestone event, part of their highly anticipated Nseko Buseko Season 5, was titled “10 Years of Madrat & Chiko” and brought together fans, well-wishers, fellow comedians, and entertainment enthusiasts for a night to remember.
Hosted by popular personalities Uncle Mo and Uncle Mark, the show featured a stellar lineup of performances from some of Uganda’s top entertainers. Mesearch Semakula’s soulful music captivated the audience, while Lydia Jazmine’s electrifying performance had attendees on their feet, dancing along to her tunes. Dr. Bbosa added his signature energy to the evening, and comedians Omala Daniel, Talkers, and Tumbeetu kept the crowd laughing with their witty humour.
The evening was further elevated by lively performances from the Victoria University Dancers, Shebby Music, and DJs Tony and Nimrod, who created a vibrant and upbeat atmosphere.
The presence of prominent figures such as the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Nyamutoro, and Hon. Nsereko underscored the significance of the event, reflecting Madrat and Chiko's enduring impact on Uganda’s comedy and entertainment scene.
Madrat and Chiko delivered their trademark satirical comedy, offering humorous commentary on current events and societal issues. Their performances not only entertained but also sparked discussions among attendees, showcasing the duo’s ability to combine humour with thought-provoking content. Their unique approach has solidified them as one of Uganda’s most influential comedy acts over the past decade.
Aly Allibhai, CEO of Talent Africa Group and organiser of the event, expressed his gratitude to the partners and audience for their unwavering support.

Hillary Baguma, Uganda Breweries Brand Manager Mainstream Spirits, congratulated the comedy duo, stating, “Uganda Waragi is the biggest supporter of unique Ugandan craft, and the Nseko Buseko celebrations attest to the brand’s commitment to binding consumers while supporting the local creative industry.”
As the event drew to a close, attendees left with smiles and cherished memories, celebrating not just Madrat and Chiko’s success but also the vibrancy of Uganda’s entertainment scene. Madrat and Chiko expressed heartfelt gratitude to their fans and supporters, including Uganda Waragi, for standing by them throughout their journey.
The celebrations don’t stop here, as the duo announced subsequent shows in Mukono at Colline Hotel on October 12th, in Masaka at Maria Flo on October 19th, and later in the month at Adit Mall in Mbarara.
