Makula has ‘created an environment’ of ‘unlimited surprises’ - Pastor Bugingo

Pastor Aloysius Bugingo has paid tribute to his fiancée Susan Makula, saying she has immensely transformed his life.

"Susan, in a very special way, thank you for standing by my side. You are very stubborn and very bright. I don't know why stubbornness and brightness are inseparable. But all these ideas of being here, holding a party, and being able to have performers... she has created an environment whereby I live in surprises every day... Thank you," Bugingo said at an event organised to mark eight years of Salt Media, which he owns, and where Makula works as a TV host.

Bugingo's compliments aren't really a surprise, considering they both recently said they want to live until they are 120 and die at once.

Makula, 37, who introduced Bugingo in 2021, said: "We asked God to make us live up to 120 and take us at once. He should take us when we are 120. He should take us at once because no one will live any longer when the other is gone. We don't want to suffer."

She added: "I believe in the word of God that we'll live longer. God has manifested that to me. My mother has seen four generations."

Bugingo, 49, said: "We have to live until when we see the fourth generation. We have to live until the next 60 years of independence, meaning when Uganda is celebrating 120 years of independence, we won't be asking anything more from God."

Makula and Bugingo made their romance public in 2019.
