Speaking on The Unpopular Opinion podcast, the Kampala Creme star explained that the venue is extremely costly, with a single plate of food on the wedding day priced at $200 (about Shs738,000) per person.

This high cost is one of the reasons why the couple is keeping the guest list small. Originally, they aimed to have just 20 guests, but numbers have started to rise due to invitation requests from unexpected people.

"That's almost a million shillings," Mami Deb remarked, highlighting the expense of the meal. Despite this, she emphasised that they are covering all the costs for their guests and haven't asked for contributions, a common practice in Ugandan wedding culture.

While Mami Deb did not disclose the exact wedding date, she mentioned it will take place in a few months. The wedding package at the Maldives hotel includes nearly everything they need, such as makeup, photography, videography, music, and decorations.

Deb shared that she was heavily involved in planning their traditional Kwanjula ceremony, but now her fiancé Michael Cleave is taking charge of the white wedding arrangements, which she described as “the easy part.”

Aside from wedding plans, Deb mentioned that her billionaire husband often receives attention from women looking to win his favor, even in unexpected places like banks.
