Kwikiriza, who boasts over two decades in the media industry, will be joining NRG Radio, which has a sister station in Kenya under the same name.
Marcus Kwikiriza announced his return to radio, two years since he left Next Radio, one of the media entities under Naguru-based Next Media.

NRG, which launched in Uganda this year, also hired Sheila Saltofte, better known as Sheila Salta, who also previously worked with Kwikiriza at Next Media. Etania Mutoni, a deejay, TV host and events emcee, has also been seen at the same station.
According to posts shared by NRG Radio, Kwikiriza will be hosting a morning show.
When he resigned from the morning show at Next Radio in February 2021 and stopped co-hosting Another Round with Gaetano Kaggwa on NBS TV, he was named General Manager and Head of Business Strategy at Next Media.
There were also rumours that he had resigned to take over as the chief executive of Vision Group following the sacking of Robert Kabushenga.
But the position would be filled by Don Wanyama, the former presidential press secretary.
Kwikiriza, who became popular in Kampala because of his talent to mimic voices during the Big Breakfast Show at Capital FM, which he co-hosted with Jackie Lumbasi and Ramesh Gabalsing, has worked with several radio stations in and outside of Uganda.
His radio career began in 1998 at Sanyu FM after completing high school.
When he returned to Kampala to work with Captial FM, he had been in Kenya from 2004-2012.
