Mariam Tindatine recounts 'pain' of being fired unexpectedly by Brian White

Lady Mariam Tindatine revealed that the most hurtful aspect of working with the Bryan White Foundation was being fired unexpectedly.

"I have nothing bad to say about him apart from him firing me when I wasn't prepared. It hurt me," said the Tindatine hitmaker while speaking to Sanyuka TV after denying that she once dated the Foundation's boss, Brian White.

She attributed White's decision to fire staff to Jose Chameleone and Weasel Manizo, who had developed a habit of arriving late for meetings and sometimes not showing up at all.

According to her, on the day they were fired, their late arrival irritated Brian White.

Mariam Tindatine has previously said that at the time of their dismissal, White had promised to start paying celebrities who worked with him Shs5 million.

When he launched the foundation, through which he donated various items to people, the boisterous socialite hired some celebrities, including the Mayanja brothers and Mariam Tindatine, to join his staff.

According to Tindatine, whose real name is Miriam Kemigisha, there was no clear job description, but they were paid and had signed a contract to start earning a monthly salary. However, Weasel's behaviour disrupted everything.

"He called us to work for him," she previously said, adding, "What do you do? All you had to do was come wearing a uniform... he disrespected us... You put on a uniform, report to the office, and sign in books to indicate arrival time. If there is a function, you endeavour to attend."

On the salary, she said: "Everyone earned differently, but he wanted to pay us Shs5 million per month, and I was like, eh... but they made us sign contracts, and I don't know whether they tore them or kept them because we were chased before the month ended. Haha."

She continued: "Weasel, I will never forgive him. Haha. He would come late. Haha. If you report late, the boss would quarrel and chase everyone."

Brian White had also offered to financially sponsor Weasel’s music career after the passing of his music partner, Mowzey Radio, in 2018. However, they eventually fell out because White felt Weasel wasn't respecting him.
