MC Kats, Sheilah Gashumba mend ties

Gashumba responded to the post, saying: "Made peace with my brother @mckatsug."

Earlier, Sheilah Gashumba had been on a TikTok live sharing why she quit NBS After 5, a show on which Kats is also a presenter.

First, she said that their content direction didn't synergise with hers.

She also noted that she joined the entertainment show at the time Joshua Baraka had just started singing.

However, she said, when she would present his music to her co-hosts and the producers, they took her in circles.

She said she wanted to help new sounds to be explored, but her efforts were frustrated.

Gashumba, who now works with NRG Radio, said she felt the time had changed and there was a need to look at the music industry through a different lens.

The other co-hosts of NBS After 5 at the time she was there were Douglas Lwanga, DJ Roja, and DVJ Mercy Pro. They seemed unbothered, unlike MC Kats.
