"I did her makeup. Well, I have been doing Mama's makeup. I call her Mama because she's like my mama. I'm so grateful. I've been doing her makeup way, since like 2015," said Mona Faces, real name Monalisa Umuton, while appearing on Not Anymore. "Basically from the beginning... She won't call me every day but when there's something major she calls me. She's literally one of the most amazing people that I've ever met and I'm so grateful for her. She is just amazing and I've felt so proud to be a part of that moment..."
Mona Faces has been the makeup artist of the Nabagereka for almost a decade.

The eponymously named memoir titled The Nnaabagereka of Buganda Queen Sylvia Nagginda Luswata was launched on March 23, 2023, at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala.
Away from the Nabagereka, Mona worked with several celebrities, including recently Nigerian celebrity chef Hilda Baci, Flavia Tumusiime, Nadia Mbire, Anne Kansiime, Lilian Mbabazi, Sheebah Karungi, Anitah Fabiola, Sheilah Gashumba, Bad Black, Barbie Kyagulanyi and Judith Heard.
Who is Mona Faces?
In an interview with Crystal Newman, she revealed that Grew up in Mamasuba along Entebbe Road and she probably picked up artistry from her late father, Robert Ndagige, who was a graphics designer.
She went to Buganda Road Primary School, Bethany High School, Seroma Christian High School, and Makerere University Business School (Bachelor’s degree in Office and Information Management).
It was while at university that she learned makeup artistry through YouTube tutorials. She also co-owned a boutique business while at university.
During S.6 Vacation, she worked at Bold, a store for African fashion designers that worked with the likes of Gloria Wavamunno.
She acquired her first makeup studio space in October 2015 and officially opened it in February 2016.
