Looking back, the former Eagles Production singer described the incident as very regrettable.

This he said, happened some time back when he was rushing his child who had a medical emergency to the hospital.

Semakula says the child had been in an accident and sustained a big injury on the head. On the way to the hospital, the child was having seizures and seemed like they wouldn’t make it.

I didn't know if I would get him to the hospital or not,” recalled the 'Kankutendereze' singer.

On the road, he says he ran into a driver who kept blocking his way and wouldn't let him pass.

I was in such a panic that I didn't even have shoes on. I honked at the guy but he would move,” Semakula recounted in a TikTok Video.

“Then (the driver) started signaling with his hands that I should fly over him if I am in such a hurry.”

I reacted very badly; I got out of the car and did something that I cannot even say here.”

But because other road users knew him, Semakula says they did not intervene or try to restrain him, because they were all shocked and confused about what had befallen him.

When he explained to them what was happening, they turned against the errant driver and he started apologizing.

Semakula says from that time, he learned a key lesson never to block the way of another driver who seems to be in a hurry.

If you are ever on the road and there is someone behind that is acting erratically and seems to be in a hurry if you can let them pass. Because you cannot know what is happening,” he said
