But at the same time, she dreaded the relationship to the extent that she thought about not ever dating again till death.
Susan Makula Nantaba once dated a man she loved so much it became hard for her to leave the relationship.

"You can't fight a heart from wanting what it wants. When you love someone you love, you need God to release you from a bad person, So, 2016 is when I became independent," said Makula, who is currently romanticly involved with Pastor Aloysius Bugingo with whom they have been an item for about five years.
"In fact, I didn't even ask him for a man,... I asked him to release me from this man, give me money so I can raise my son, he goes to school,... he marries, a good woman,... In fact, I promised Him, if you get me out of this relationship, I'll abstain till death, not till marriage... I told God that I would not be with another man."
Makula has previously talked about an ex-lover whom she broke up with and never wanted to think about again. She said she had to return all the things he gifted her.
Meanwhile, in another video Makula, who has a son, talked about how parents can introduce their sons to relationships.
"Young boys, we need to leave them, there's a point in their lives where they need to undergo self-discovery; don't make them fear girls. Guide them. If a boy is 16, I don't know why you would be surprised, as a parent, that he is attracted to a girl. You don't need to be surprised. It's normal. So, you need to watch and guide him so that he builds confidence to court his agemates," she said.
"If you raise a boy telling him that girls grow up with needs, even me as your mother... whether old or young, needs are there, and if you can fulfill them, you need to work as a man. A boy who fears women at 16, hits 18, reaches 25,... a woman who approaches him makes it easy for him to love her, and those are sugar mummies because they position themselves well," she continued.
"A young girl will only wait for the one boy to make a move... an old woman is going to pick out her business card, give him money for airtime, everything... so,... for some of our sons, let's teach them how to court women."
