According to Sheila Gashumba, the kind of music that Crysto Panda does is good only to be listened to in the bathroom. She added that he has the talent and potential to do better music and needs to sit down with his team and set a good strategy on how to execute this.
“I feel like Crysto Panda at times sings unnecessary music like the remixes he does such as Balumye. You can sing some of these in your bathroom and stop it there. Artin Pro, his producer, should encourage him to be more creative because he has the ability,” Gashumba said.
Douglas Lwanga, who is also a host on the same show where she Gashumba gave this advice, said Panda needs to scout good songwriters to add a flavor to his lyrics and music because he is a good musician.
Kitaka Roger aka Dj Roja added to the conversation on the same show saying that Crysto Panda needs to add DJs to his team in order to push his career and music to greater heights.
In his reply to Sheila Gashumba, during a radio interview, Panda says that he appreciates the compliments about his music but, however, she should also give the same compliments to her boyfriend Rickman because he is also an artist.
In an interview with a local radio station, Crysto Panda said Sheilah Gashumba should stop minding his music. He thinks it’s high time she shifted this energy she is putting on him to her boyfriend Rickman.
“I heard Sheilah Gashumba saying I only wait for trending words to do music and that’s what kills my music career. In my opinion, I'm doing good music so I request her to shift the energy she is putting on me to her musician-boyfriend Rickman,” Crysto Panda said.
Crysto Panda added that fans and the people that follow him and his music love what he sings for them. He became a hit artist in Uganda when he dropped songs like the Kyolina Omanya remix that features Queen Sheebah, Ebiluma Abayaye and Asht.
