A commenter then asked: "But how is single life now? Share with us the experience madam Sasha"
She responded: "Unfortunately my husband can’t let me be single Kati awo simanyi."
The post left many wondering whether she meant that Mugume had turned down her request for divorce or they just mended ties.
They wedded on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Miracle Center Cathedral, Rubaga, where Pastor Robert Kayanja officiated the service though they had been together for very many years.
Their wedding ceremony cost about Shs400 million.
The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, in February 2023.
Canary Mugume hadn't publicly commented on the matter until he told Kasuku to stop involving himself in his marital issues.
Through his YouTube channel Kasuku Live and KFM, where he appears in the morning segment, Kasuku, real name Isaac Daniel Katende, revealed the following:
- Mugume is accusing his wife of leaking their marriage issues to the Red Pepper.
- The couple is taking a break but they haven't broken up yet.
- Pastor Robert Kayanja, who officiated their marriage vows, has intervened.
- Sasha Ferguson is accusing Canary Mugume of no longer giving her "quality time," cutting the money he used to give her and drinking a lot.
