Right now he's in the US; I saw him with Muvawala in Boston and I understand that he’s traveling to California. I have told him to get in touch with Champion Marvin to help him (settle),” said Mukasa

Mukasa made the revelation while appearing on the Weekly Drone Youtube show with Batt Badru.

Badru also said he had confirmed Kaiyz’ travel to the US, although he told him the last time they talked, that he was in Dubai.

Kaiyz was on social media on Tuesday morning, tweeting, but made no mention of his reported departure from NBS as alleged.

Mukasa and Badru, while theorizing on the presenter’s departure, claimed that he was unhappy at the station.

Mukasa said he had learnt of Kaiyz’s “frustrations” and complaints about “lack of humanitarianism” at the Naguru station.

Mukasa further claimed that Kaiyz was being overworked, and getting no pay raise; and that at one time he was recalled from leave shortly after his mother passed away.

I told him to resign if was not happy at work,” he said.

In a couple of cryptic tweets this morning, Kaiyz inferred a lack of happiness and financial struggles replying to one commentator, “I have no reason to smile today.”
