Patricia Sitya Loss: Why I will never forget Rema Namakula

Patricia Sitya Loss was immediately rushed to Rubaga Hospital but Eddy Kenzo asked that she be transferred to Case Clinic for full-time medical attention.

"Rema was the first to serve me food when I was hospitalised," she said, adding that she doesn't remember most of what happened at the time.

"She was there for me. She would make sure I eat every day."

According to Patricia, Rema used to buy her chicken, her favourite food.

"She even helped push my wheelchair," said Patricia.

Patricia and Sempijja were involved in a bicycle accident in Makindye in December 2015. The bicycle they were riding failed to break. Her friend, Alex Ssempijja, succumbed to the injuries shortly after the accident.

She was put in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). She was 12 at the time. Her friend was 14. She suffered brain swelling.

It should be recalled at the time Rema was dating Kenzo.

Patricia Sitya Loss, 19, became famous after her dance group Triplets Ghetto Kids appeared in Eddy Kenzo's popular song Sitya Loss in 2014. The song would become a global sensation giving them another mileage that saw them appear in American rapper French Montana's song Unforgettable in 2017.

Rema Namakula’s relationship with Eddy Kenzo strengthened after she left Gagamel in 2013. He became her lover and music mentor.
