Queens of CURVING: Female celebrities who have publicly rejected famous men

It's been a rough week. People had their Valentine's Day proposals turned down in the public. Musician Geosteady and his baby mama Prima Kardashi were at each other's throats on that day to the point of nearly scaring some people away from relationships.

Zari Hassan, Flavia Tumusiime and Rema Namakula

Kardashi's first swing at Geosteady came after he posted a picture with his current girlfriend Hindu Kay, which was accompanied by a glowing tribute.

“I fell in love with her courage, her sincerity, and her flaming self-respect. And it’s these things I’d believe in, even if the whole world indulged in wild suspicions that she wasn’t all she should be,” the Same Way singer posted.

“I love her and it is the beginning of everything. However thin/thick, rich/poor, beautiful/ugly, old/young you’re, it is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not,” he added.

“I want this to be your life mama coz I found it worth living. NJAGALA GWE (It’s you that I love) Hindu Kay. Happy Valentines Everyone.”

The back and forth between the two was ugly.

Below we look at some female celebrities who did men who had interest in them dirty.

Flavia Tumusiime and J Cole

In 2012, media personality Flavia Tumusiime hosted Big Brother Africa and she got an opportunity to interview U.S. rapper J. Cole.

In 2015, Tumusiime took to Facebook to reveal how Cole hit on her.

"... he told me 'shawty you look nice and I loved the interview' lol I guess that is how rappers speak. We chatted for sometime, my naive self thinking it was 2 people having a professional conversation about music," reads part of the Facebook post.

"... an hour later, one of his guards came to our booth asking me to follow him, that he wanted to talk to me about something privately, as he pulled me away, my colleague came and grabbed my hand and asked to speak to me…she said 'I bet he wants a moment with you alone, don’t be stupid, he thinks you are available.' I was shocked at this and I told the guard to go and tell him I was okay here and if it was important he can come to us."

Evelyn Namulondo and B2C, alias Kampala Boys

Asked whether she is dating any of the Boys, Namulondo said: "You've a problem with it?... Those are my brothers, my sons... B2C are my brothers, my sons, and Rema is my sister."

Songstress Rema Namakula is the queen of curving. For her, she declared that she wasn't interested in about five musicians who were suggested to her during a TV interview.

Leila Kayondo and SK Mbuga

Kayondo in a flurry of WhatsApp statuses name-called her former Suleiman Kabangala Mbuga, alias SK Mbuga, a bunch of shameless things, including saying he is a one-minute man.

MP Rwabwogo and Isiko [Bonus]

Former Kabarole District Woman MP Sylvia Rwabwogo said she was harassed by Brian Isiko, 25, a student of YMCA College of Business Studies in Jinja, who was always sending her love message and obscene proposals. She took him to court but the case was later thrown out because she didn’t come for hearings.
