The songstress, who professionally goes by Rema, also noted that Kenzo is always free to meet his daughter whenever he wants.
Rema Namakula said her daughter with Eddy Kenzo, Aamal Musuza, has bonded well with her stepfather Dr. Hamza Ssebunya.

"Whenever he wants her... I let him see her... and basically, that is all he needs from this side. Being able to see her," said Rema in an interview with media personality Ruth Kalibala.
"I'm also grateful that Aamal bonded well with her new dad, doctor. They have a bond that is... I don't know how to say it... When you find them together, they like each other's company so much," she continued.
"They vibe so well, they have that chemistry. And I thank God for that daily."
She said in most cases it's always hard for kids to bond with step-parents but she is grateful to God for how things worked out for her.
"I used to worry about what would happen to her when I decide to move on... After separating from her father, I had the time of being a single person," said Rema.
"Most of you didn't know about that because people around me protect my secrets. And it wasn't just one year... it was about like two years... during that period I didn't know what to do but I kept praying to God."
The Ngonze hitmaker said that she was worried about meeting the wrong man.
"I asked God to help me skip the stage of serial dating in order to find the right partner."
She said she met exactly what she expected in Dr. Hamza Ssebunya. Ssebunya and Rema have a daughter named Aaliyah Ssebunya.
Rema and Kenzo were romantically involved for about six years before splitting.
