Artin Pro, real name Martin Musoke, had met Rickman Manrick, when he was working under Jahlive Studios, founded by Frank Mugerwa.

Born in 1996, Pro initially wanted to be a singer but realised the cost of producing a song was too high for him he decided to learn production so he can cut costs on making a song.

Speaking to Mr. Henrie, real name Henry Arinaitwe on his YouTube channel, Pro said that he linked up with a village-mate called John Mary who was an already established gospel music producer

Artin Pro had grown up in a family of music so he had some knowledge of musical instruments at an early age. Most of his family members were involved in church choirs. His mother, Rose Namutebi, played piano.

After leaving John Mary's studio, he joined another studio in Makindye, a Kampala division where he met singers like Grenade Official, Beenie Gunter and Fik Fameica.

In fact, the first hit song Artin Pro produced was Byenyenya by Fik Fameica. He has also produced some other songs for Fameica including the controversial 2018 jam titled Property.

Before starting his own studio dubbed Axtra Nation in 2019, he also worked for Frank Jahlive and it's where he met Rickman Manrick and household names like Sheebah Karungi

Manrick would go on to become Pro's close friend, gifting him first iPhone and paying him the highest amount for producing a song.

Pro has produced a number of Rickman Manrick's songs including his biggest ones like Bango, Hangover and Tusimbudde.

Artin Pro, who went to Gayaza Cambridge College of St. Mbaga for secondary education, studied Records and Archives Management at Makerere University.
