Sofia Namutebi Sylvia, alias Mama Fina delivered Shs3 million to help with the treatment of people that survived the crash that claimed the life of songstress Lady Grace, also known as Laila.
Laila will be buried on Saturday, according to reports.
Fina, who heads the traditional healers association, offered Shs2 million to cater to Alimpa's medical bills whom she visited at Mulago National Referral Hospital.
To the hospital, the musicians were driven by fellow singer Hassan Nduga.
Ndugwa, who had collected funds from people who had come to check on them, asked Fina to contribute to the treatment of others. She added another Shs1 million.
This reporter was not able to independently verify the other victims in the accident. Police in its statement only mentioned Grace, Alimpa, and Fire.
"We have to fight to see that he gets better. It's good that doctors have taken him to the theatre... I see his legs have hugely swollen... All we need is to see them get better. That's what's important," he said.
"Alimpa's condition is not good. But it's good that he is still alive, yet his colleagues died. Someone who is alive has a chance of surviving... what he didn't have was help... He needed medicine, but now that he has help, all will be good... All of us are going to die. I want to tell musicians to be careful when driving, and they avoid drunk driving... we need to be careful when driving," she added.
"I don't want Alimpa to be surrounded by a lot of people. let him get time to rest. they'll get a room where to put him so he can rest and people who want him can find him... Every money I'm giving you should go to Alimpa. The money I have given you is for scanning to see the damages."
Singer Spice Diana, Lady Miriam, Kazibwe Kapo, and Willy Mukabya are among those that have shown support to the victims.
