One of the screenshots showed the MP's conversation with NBS news anchor Samson Kasumba.
A hacker compromised the Twitter account of Sheema Municipality Member of Parliament (MP) Dickson Kateshumbwa on Saturday morning and took screenshots of some of the Direct Messages (DMs) the lawmaker had received.

During the chat, Kasumba told the Kateshumbwa about his house that was still under construction.
He told him that he was looking for money to help with painting. Kateshumbwa promised to contribute Shs1 million.
Samson Kasumba has finally broken the silence about the matter.
"Ladies and gentlemen, friends and fans of my work. The house is not yet finished. I am here for for [sic] those of you how feel moved to contribute," he tweeted.
"May God richly bless your hearts abundantly as you contribute. Amen to God our Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Amen."
Kasumba, known for his braggadocio, attracted mocking from social media. On Friday, he tweeted a picture of a shoe he claimed costs in the north of Shs1 million.
"You are not a complete man until you have a pair of this quality leather and colour. These things you need @Mukulaa and @mukizs help to understand them. As you can tell I am not speaking to anyone making leas than 6m a month," he tweeted. "This pair could cost you no less than 1m on the cheap."
Netizens wondered why someone who could afford such a shoe was struggling to paint a house.
