Sheebah Karungi pregnant

According to Kasuku, the source told him that Karungi, who is better known as Queen Sheebah, won't be taking bookings that need her to perform in September and beyond until she's given birth.

Rumours about the songstress' pregnancy swirled some months back but she denied them, saying she was bloated.

Most people didn't push back hard since she has always said she is not rushing to have a child.

In 2022, Sheebah Karungi told people to get out of her ovaries after incessant questions about when she was having kids.

Said the Wakikuba singer: "Get out of my ovaries. That's it. Get out of my ovaries. Leave them, they'll function when I decide. Get out of it.

"Stop putting women under pressure to have children, why? You don't know their struggles, and you will pressurise her, yet they've been trying for over 40 years, you don't know what you are doing to her.

"Always leave that topic, so a woman can decide when to give birth. It's a very sensitive topic."

Some celebrities hold similar views to Queen's on that topic. The most recent comments have come from Gabie Ntaate.

"Stop asking people about kids, some people are barren. Some have problems and they aren't intentionally refusing to get pregnant," said Ntaate when a newsman asked her about her love life and marriage.

According to the Brag about God hitmaker, some of these questions are intrusive and they stir heart-wrenching emotions.

Gabriella 'Gabie' Ntaate, who previously presented a gossip show on TV, is not the first celebrity to talk about such sensitive questions.

"Stop asking women when they are giving birth,” Florence Nampijja said last year when she was asked about her marriage plans.

According to her, those are sensitive questions that shouldn’t be asked by strangers because you never know what’s stopping someone from getting married or having kids.

It could be out of their control, she said.

Meanwhile, the Ice Cream hitmaker is also not a fan of marriage.
