"Kats is a good friend of mine. The DJs are all my friends, but we were not at the same music-thinking capacity. Do you understand?" said Gashumba in a video seen by this reporter.
"Because what I know about music is different from what they know and, of course, what they know is also right to them and what I know is also right to me," she added.
"When I do things, I want to make an impact in a way that they'll remember."

Sheilah Gashumba said she joined the entertainment show where she worked with heavy hitters like MC Kats, Douglas Lwanga, DJ Roja, and DVJ Mercy Pro at the time Joshua Baraka had just started singing.

Sheilah Gashumba joined NBS After 5 in 2021 after a competition that involved Robinah Nambooze, popularly known as Robin Kisti, who remains a nemesis because she felt the process was unfair.
Gashumba, who moved to NBS from NTV's The Beat, a competing entertainment show, was replaced by Viana Indi on After 5 in 2023.
