Nakazibwe hosted the morning show for over a decade before she quit recently and got replaced by Ruth Kalibbala Bwanika before she also temporarily left.
Stella Nante was congratulating Nakazibwe upon giving birth to a baby boy when she sparked the conversation.
Nakazibwe on Tuesday had a bouncing baby boy, seven months after quitting the Serena-based TV station.
She announced the exciting news on her TikTok page, posting a video of herself on her hospital bed with the caption, “It’s a baby boy.”
On Facebook, she posted, “Today we are a member stronger. The little man is here. Praise be to God.”
Good example
While most of her followers and fans including singer Bruno K, dashed to congratulate the 39-year-old, others praised her for managing to keep her pregnancy out of the public.
“Indeed private life is the best,” posted one Rebecca Katami on Facebook.
Maria Natalie expressed surprise; “But we didn't see the pregnancy! Congratulations lady.”
Other commentators advised other Ugandan celebrities to learn from Faridah’s example.
“Someone should tag Ray P and others to keep their secrets and announce after achieving,” posed another user.
Nakazibwe, who has two teenage daughters kept a largely private profile after exiting NTV in October last year.
Rumours of her pregnancy were first outed by fellow journalist Kasuku, but they remained just that until she had her son yesterday.
Her replacement, Stella Nante, is also an actress.
