Madam Cheri Adyeri owned two popular hangouts -- Café Cheri and Cheri Royale in Kabalagala.

They both performed weekly at the hangouts, with Chameleone at Café Cheri and Michael at Cheri Royale.

Cheri worked in Europe and every time she was returning to Uganda, she would bring the singers gifts.

When she would bring the gifts, they would be stored in the bar where King Michael sang.

On this one trip, she included beautiful shoes in Chameleone's package. Since Michael saw the package first, he decided to take the shoes thinking the Badilisha hitmaker wouldn't find out.

Michael, however, told his hangers-on and one of them told people in Leone Island, Chameleone's record label. When Jose Chameleone got wind of the news, he laid a plan to get back the shoes.

"It was a very good shoe," said King Michael while speaking to Mr. Henrie on Galaxy TV.

One day, they both found themselves at Club Guvnor. As Michael was leaving the bar, drunk, Chameleone and his boys attacked him and took the shoes.

The next day Jose Chameleone hang it in his Cadillac Escalade and drove it around to rub it in King Michael's face.

In Chameleone's package, there was a fancy jacket. Michael hatched a plan to take it. He took it and made sure the Valu Valu hitmaker saw him wearing it.

The revenge was executed at Club Guvnor still. They ended up banning them from entering Guvnor.

Michael said they were never sexually involved with the woman, but she paid them well.
