"[I tried to find them] but somehow they are hiding them," said Karungi while speaking to NRG Radio.
Karungi, better known as Queen Sheebah, is the vice president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation, and she has always advocated for the rights of women in the entertainment industry.
The songstress, who joined the music industry as a teenager, said she had some terrible experiences with music managers and the duo could be going through the same.
"I think these girls are suffering the same thing I suffered when I was their age or at some point when you feel like you can't succeed without a certain person or a certain management," said the Ice Cream hitmaker who said she wasn't able to get information from Theronic Music, the record label the manages Kataleya and Kandle.
"And it's absolutely understandable because you are hungry... But I want to tell you my fellow artists, most especially the females, you got it. You are the prize if you know you are talented."
According to Sheebah, artistes shouldn't accept being taken advantage of. "That's not right... But this is not something that can be taught. It's an experience."
Sheebah Karungi, who also goes by Queen Karma, joined the music industry as a dancer under Stingerz in 2004 before joining Obsessions in 2006 and then Jeff Kiwanuka with whom they parted ways at the end of 2021.
The issues of Kataleya and Kandle and Theron Music, a brainchild of David Kalemera became public at the start of this year.
