"That's his brother. I don't think it's that bad. It's just that people saw it through an African lens," Musoke said while speaking to the media recently.

"We are Africans, yes, but your brother, even in the Bible," she went on before Pallaso, who is also her son, interrupted to say that the issue should stop being discussed anymore.

Pallaso himself has come under fire after he released the video of his new song in which he is seen dancing with Chameleone in a manner that some observers have said should be left to male-female dances.

Chameleone kissed Weasel during his Gwanga Mujje held on February 24 at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.

Following public pressure, he apologised and said that he did it out of excitement. He said former Health Minister Mike Mukula advised him to apologise.

"I sincerely apologise. It was just too much energy, excitement. I actually regret it,” said Chameleone while apologising in a video shared on Twitter.

"The energy was so high, and it was just a wrong way to share it with Weasel, my brother, and I also apologise on behalf of him. Thank you so much for accepting my apologies."

Meanwhile, Proscovia Musoke said she is ready to meet Pastor Martin Ssempa who wanted to meet her to get her views on the matter.

"I don't have a problem with that. He is an old man, I respect him, and he is a man of God,” she said.

Pastor Ssempa had filed a complaint at police against Chameleone before he apologised.
