Tindatine: Unless it’s someone like Bill Clinton, I'm not getting married soon

Clinton was the 42nd president of the United States from 1993 to 2001. He is still married to former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

"No," said Tindatine when she was asked if she plans to get married soon. "Not right now. Unless you bring like Bill Clinton."

The songstress said that if she got married everyone would know because it has to be public.

"A beautiful girl like me. A star. How can I be married without a public wedding... or without my fans knowing?" she said.

"That would be a mistake on my side... A man has to come and let the world know that I'm taking your daughter."

In 2014,  Tindatine, real name, Miriam Kemigisha,  told New Vision that she was married for two years and they split because the man wanted her to quit music.

"I tried to, once, and it lasted for two years with a man who loved me but things did not work out as he had promised at first. But I was not surprised because that is how men sometimes behave," she said.

"He told me to leave the music industry and sit at home, which I declined to heed to because it is from music that I earn a living. So we had to part ways peacefully."

She was also once romantically linked to a South Sudan tycoon named TiTo Tongo. He even sponsored her music.

She also dated former Uganda Cranes striker Robert Ssentongo.

Ssentongo, who now strikes for Kyetume F.C., accused her of cheating. The songstress accused him of domestic violence and being weak in bed.

“I liked him and even talked about him in media interviews. We had made our relationship public,” she said in a 2015 interview reported in Bigeye.ug.

“But when he started saying those bad things about me, my wires just broke. He is the same man who had turned me into a punching bag, beating me every day. I was very patient with him because I loved him so much. Then came the lies that I was caught pants down cheating on him. I am the one who dumped him because he is bossy and very much of a control freak and worried of losing those people he thinks he loves.

“He failed to fulfill my womanly needs and started putting the blame on me. Am sure that is why he is saying all those stories because he is weak and feels belittled.”
