Pastors Bugembe and Bugingo have previously stung each other.
When Pastor Wilson Bugembe held his concert dubbed Katonda W'abanaku Mw'eno Ensonga in 2022, Bugingo called him a witch for accepting money from Maama Fina.
Fina, real name Sofia Namutebi Sylvia, is the leader of the Traditional Healers Association, and she has always supported musicians ahead of their concerts and other causes.
Bugingo also took aim at Bugembe for inviting secular musicians to his concert.
He said: "The concert was full of drunkards. It was a haven for prostitutes and wrongdoers. Bugembe was seen kneeling for a witch doctor, meaning he is connected to them. God forbids such.
"We asked believers to support him thinking it was a gospel show but to our surprise, it was a secular show."
When Bugingo had his issues with his ex-wife, Teddy Naluswa, and his daughter, Bugembe weighed in: "It is unfortunate that this is happening to a man of God, but he (Bugingo) has always regarded himself as a referee in the world of pastors. He abuses others. People are now laughing at him. They are celebrating his misfortune because he pretended to be the righteous one.”
Susan Makula has said Bugembe's song Katonda Wabanaku is boring.
Meanwhile, Paul Ssaaka has mentored a number of musicians and trained music in a number of schools, including Buddo Secondary School, Mumsa High School, Kings College Buddo, St. Balikuddembe Kisoga, which Rema Namakula went to.
