Gashumba lambasted Kasumba, saying at his age he shouldn't be involved in social media exchanges with his daughter Sheilah Gashumba who is many years his junior.
Social commentator Frank Gashumba went for a king of trolls in news anchor Samson Kasumba when he picked on him for commenting on his daughter's social media posts.

Both Sheilah and Kasumba work for NBS TV and Gashumba wondered why he was the only one that choose to “criticise” his daughter.
Kasumba had commented on Sheilah's post in which she was mocking TV presenter Isaac Kawalya, alias Kayz, that he grew up consuming local TV shows like Life Mwattu and Kigenya Agenya.
That was after Kayz took aim at Sheilah for donning saucy drip while going to the Choplife End of Year Party.
After seeing Sheilah's comment, Kasumba told her to promote local content instead of ridiculing it.
Gashumba, while appearing on a local radio station, was unsparing with words, coming down hard on Kasumba telling him to compare his net worth with Sheilah's.
"There is something called middle age crisis and it's very bad. Kasumba you think you know a lot; Let Sheilah bring her bank statement and her land titles, and you also bring yours, simple... Yes, Sheilah Gashumba, at her age, let her show what she has earned, and he also parades his... I'm telling you, this is a weighing scale... Why is it that he is the only one among all NBS employees involved in this?... That she is trying to kill local content, how? Sheilah can not kill local content because she is employed by a local TV," Gashumba said.
Not to leave troll opportunities to go to waste, Kasumba first turned up for news anchoring carrying a bag that he claimed contained land titles.
To up the ante a little more, yesterday he filmed himself flashing $100 notes while at the same time faking a phone conversation with a bank manager.
Goes the fake call: "Hello, are you the bank manager, madam? Yes, I had a good night, madam. I called about the other issue I wanted you to help me with. I'm under pressure. It's me Samson Kasumba. Yes, about bank statements. You got them but there is no money? Don't mind about that, it's not about that, someone wants them. He mostly needs bank statements. I come for them in the evening? Okay, madam, thank you. God bless you."
