In a comical response, Kasumba, known for his conspicuous approach to life, decided to carry a bag that he claimed contained land titles.

Kasumba pulled off the stunt before reading the Live At 9 news at NBS TV.

When he arrives in the studio, his co-anchor Sheilah Tusiime asks: "Samson, what's with the bag tonight?"

Kasumba responds: "They've asked for land titles."

Tusiime: "You have them? You got them?"

Kasumba: "Don't you see the bag?"

Later, Kasumba took to Twitter to say: "There was excitement among my colleagues when I showed up with this bag. These people @nbstv @nextmediaug work with me and they know me enough to know how I love lemons thrown at me. They also know what I do to such lemons. This is how to live and enjoy life if you ask me."

The word battle erupted after Sheilah Gashumba clapped back at TV presenter Isaac Kawalya, alias Kayz, saying he grew up watching local TV shows like Life Mwattu and Kigenya Agenya.

Kayz had earlier called out Sheilah for turning skimpily dressed for the ChopLife End of Year Party, reminding her that she could regret her lifestyle when she bears children in the future.

Sheilah responded: "Dear Kaiyz, you grew up watching That’s Life Mwattu and Kigenya Agenya on a black and white tv. I grew up watching live performances of Rihanna and Beyoncé and Disney channel, E!. I’m here to remind you that WE ARE NOT AND WE WILL NEVER BE ON THE SAME LEVEL."

While appearing on a local radio station recently, Gashumba defended his daughter while attacking Kasumba whom he appeared to say had a personal vendetta against his daughter.
