"It's true that we are all going to die, but there are people you see and wonder whether they still have a long time on earth because the world still needs them, we still need them... as a family, we loved him so, so much," she said.
"He also loved us... We would come around and sit and converse, and they bring us tea. He was our person. Such a person, who wants nothing from you, leaving you!"
Just like Namakula, most of Mande's friends described him as a calm, easygoing person.
According to reports, Mande was involved in a bar scuffle in the wee hours of Monday morning and he sustained jaw injuries.
He was rushed to the hospital, then discharged, but on Friday morning he was taken back in critical condition and he breathed his last while there.
Hasan Mande is survived by a daughter only identified as Namande, who has been taken under Kenzo's custody.
At the burial, Kenzo said his brother was reserved to the extent few people knew they were brothers.
"It was hard to tell Mande is Kenzo's brother, because he was in his own world," adding that even when Kenzo was going through tough times like his split from Rema, Mande kept his silence to protect him.
"He told me, say little, we have a child with that woman. That relationship will never end... He sustained long-lasting friendships."
According to Kenzo, Mande resided in Makindye and spent his days in Katwe where he worked as a truck driver.
