Mayanja, who like Atim is based in the US, downloaded a video from 2013, showing the wife of his brother Jose Chameleone appearing at Makindye Court for fighting with a journalist.
Humphrey Mayanja, the brother of singer Weasel Manizo, took to Instagram to let his followers know that Daniella Atim, who has been vocal against domestic violence, does not have a clean record.

In 2012, then 28, Atim slapped Isaac Daniel Katende, aka Kasuku, who was then a journalist with Daily Monitor and a presenter at Dembe FM.
"She slapped me because I reported that their home was being taken by the bank," Kasuku told The Observer in 2015.
The incident happened on December 10, 2012 at The Monitor Publications head office on 8th Street Industrial Area, Kampala.
She spent a night in Luzira Prison, as sureties couldn't deposit bail money because the court session ended late.
Meanwhile, Humphrey Mayanja told his brother Weasel to get his life together because he may land in trouble.
“I do not condone violence in whatever form,” he captioned the video about Atim’s court appearance. “Weasel [think about your actions] or you will end up in Luzira.”
He also told Sandra Teta, the wife of Weasel, to organise her family
“Sit down and organise yourselves,” he said.
Teta, who is currently in Rwanda, recently released a video telling Atim to stop sharing information about her issues with Weasel on social media.
According to Teta, Atim, who has five children with Chameleone, hasn’t called her, so she is spreading rumours.
Atim responded to the video saying that Teta is just “running her mouth” because she is clueless about what lies ahead.
