But before this, let’s offer a little background.
Before they fell in love, Atim put Chameleone through lots of tests.
For instance, one day Chameleone was in Kabowa and she told him to buy her chicken. The nearby place he could the kind of chicken she wanted was Wandegeya.
"She told me to drive from Kabowa to Wandegeya to buy her chicken..." said Chameleone in an a media interview.
Chameleone was accompanied by Red Banton.
She had a surprise for them on arrival.
"On handing it to her, she didn't even bother asking how I was or initiating any form of conversation,” said Chameleoene.
That Daniella Atim just said: "Bambi thank you so much, you are such a darling. Bambi, I will see you; bye bye.”
After that event, Chameleone swore to Banton that he would never talk to her. But she was too hot for Chameleone to make good on his word.
On top of using him as a delivery boy and never giving time for conversation, she also used to dodge his phone calls.
Driving to meet boyfriend
One day Atim was at Parliamentary Avenue-based Mateo’s Restaurant and called Chameleone saying she had just seen him in town. She asked if he could come and see her.
The usual unsuspecting Chameleone was nearby but he needed to drive some considerable stretch to come see her because of one-way roads.
She wanted him to drive her to Makerere University where she was studying.
Daniella Atim had come for a date but the boyfriend had stood her up. He obliged and drove her.
Then as she had just stepped out of the car, the boyfriend called saying he had arrived at Mateo’s.
She convinced Chameleone to drive her back to town. He accepted.
Chameleone said after arriving and seeing her boyfriend, he swore to never meet her again. But he was lying to himself as he would meet her several other times and go through the same frustration before they eventually got married.
In a separate interview, Chameleone said it took him two years of courting Daniella Atim before they finally had sex.
