Confirmed: Boyz 11 Men to perform in Uganda

The iconic R&B group, Boys 2 Men will be performing live in concert in Kampala, Uganda on Sunday, June 11th, 2023, at the launch of the Yetu Festival.

Boys 2 Men is considered one of the most influential and successful R&B groups in music history, known for their timeless hits that appeal to fans of all ages. Over the years, they have won several accolades, including four Grammy Awards. Some of their most popular songs include "End Of The Road," "I’ll Make Love To You," "One Sweet Day," and "It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday."

The concert in Uganda will be part of Boys 2 Men's first-ever Africa tour, and their second leg of the tour. The event is a collaboration between MTN Uganda, Capital Radio, Uganda Breweries Limited, and other partners.

"We are proud to join Capital Radio and our other partners in this musical celebration of life and experience with Boys 2 Men," said Emmy Hashakimana, Marketing and Innovation Director at Uganda Breweries Limited.

The concert will be held on Sunday, as the organizers believe it is a great day for entertainment and socialising with family. Gates will be open from 2 pm onwards, allowing fans to enjoy the concert without worrying about work the next day.

Tickets for the concert will be available for purchase online and via mobile money starting next week Tuesday, May 9th. The prices for the tickets are as follows: 200k for the main area, 300k for the silver section, and 5 million for a table.

In addition to Boys 2 Men, there will be several Ugandan opening acts, including DJs and musicians. The Sauti Sol will be the main curtain raisers for the concert. There will also be discounts and affordable prices on all Uganda Breweries Brands like Johnnie Walker, with a world-class cocktail session.

It is a show of ballads, and there will be no special love nests set up in the audience. The organisers promise that everyone will have an experience worth their money.
