The singer spontaneously floated the plan in an interview; to form a political party and name it Fangone Unity Platform (FUP) in order to counter Bobi Wine’s National Unity Platform.
Alien Skin might have been jesting last week, when he proposed forming his own political party, but some of his fans seem to be convinced that this is the right direction for him to take.

The idea of the political party has since picked traction among the fans, especially as the clock ticks down to December 2023, when the Fangone Forest boss is expected to officially retire from music.
In the latest push, a group of fans named “Fangone Disciples” visited Alien Skin at his Fangone Forest base where they unveiled themselves as the military wing of the FUP.
These showed up in brand-new military attire, which they said they purchased through contributions.
“We are here to officially inform Kibanda (Skin) that he now has a military wing behind him. We are now the Fangone Seal team,” said the group leader, one Popstar.
Popstar said they mobilized themselves into a WhatsApp group and started raising money, which they started to purchase the attire that resembles combat bulletproof vests.
On his part, Alien Skin welcomed the initiative by the group and appreciated them for showing him love.
The singer last weekend said he plans to form a political party but added that it will not be fully registered to participate in elective politics.
Instead, he said, it will be used to carry on his confrontational engagements with his opponents, more so, the diehard supporters of Bobi Wine.
