Faridah Nakazibwe praised for keeping pregnancy under wraps

Former NTV journalist Faridah Nakazibwe has been showered with congratulatory messages upon welcoming a new bundle of joy.

Faridah Nakazibwe welcomed a baby boy on Tuesday

Nakazibwe on Tuesday had a bouncing baby boy, seven months after quitting the Serena-based TV station.

She announced the exciting news on her TikTok page, posting a video of herself on her hospital bed with the caption, “It’s a baby boy.”

On Facebook, she posted, “Today we are a member stronger. The little man is here. Praise be to God.”

While most of her followers and fans including singer Bruno K, dashed to congratulate the 39-year-old, others praised her for managing to keep her pregnancy out of the public.

Maria Natalie expressed surprise; “But we didn't see the pregnancy! Congratulations lady.”

Other commentators advised other Ugandan celebrities to learn from Faridah’s example.

Nakazibwe, who has two teenage daughters kept a largely private profile after exiting NTV in October last year.

Rumours of her pregnancy were first outed by fellow journalist Kasuku, but they remained just that until she had her son yesterday.
