I don't think the answer is yes or no… I can’t say if we are happy or unhappy,” she recounted the conversation with her friend on her vlog this week.

But what I can say, we have found our rhythm… I feel like we have learned how to paddle together, and that is because of the efforts on both sides.”

On her YouTube Channel, Flavia has often given insights and laid bare some of the intricate details of her marriage relationship, from her vulnerabilities and struggles to how she's been copping.

In the latest episode, the 35-year-old shares some of the important lessons she has picked from the past four years, and mostly faults herself for her struggles.

For starters, she says, she initially failed to recognize the “change of seasons” which made her transition from a single-working class to a married woman very challenging.

I was a teenager in my 20s and 30s, a go-getter, traveling the world; that was the season. But when I entered the marriage season, I forgot to switch off and grow,” she said.

I wanted the marriage to fit into the season I was holding onto; that of hanging with my friends whenever I wanted to; doing things in my own time and even the workload I had.”

If forgot that while before I could take on six jobs and do them from morning to evening, this was not the season.”

Flavia also says the past four years have taught her never to listen to the opinions of anyone about her marriage, be it her parents, relatives, or close friends, .

She’s also realized the danger of separating bank accounts with her husband and now advises couples to join their finances together if they are truly intent on building a family and securing the future of their offspring.
