He goes to Kampala Parents’ Primary school where he was awarded a scholarship by Ugandan tycoon and businessman Sudhir Ruparelia, the founder and boss of Ruparelia Foundation, who gave the seven-year-old a fully paid study scholarship for his primary education.
Uganda’s sensational young rapper Fresh Kid, real name Senyonjo Patrick, is one of the students that reported back to school this week. When the country was hit by the pandemic and schools were totally locked, Fresh Kid was in primary three waiting for promotion to primary four.

According to Fresh Kid, he has been studying online via zoom and for the two years he has been home he has been promoted to two classes and he is now in primary five.
Fresh Kid says he is so excited to finally go back to physical classes which he has missed for a long time. According to him, these classes are better than zoom classes where the teacher is not physically seen. He adds that such classes also come with some distractions like music and social media which affects his concentration.
In an interview, Fresh Kid says he is excited to meet his friends and teachers that he hasn’t seen for a while. He says he has always waited and longed for this opportunity for schools to reopen.
Fresh Kid says he is now going to concentrate on his academics and put the rest of other things like social media on hold in order to win himself good grades and performance.
