The Uganda Medical Association (UMA) leadership addressed the press this Monday morning, calling for the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) to halt the release of a music video.
They argued that the use of a clinical coat and stethoscope in the scenes undermined the professionalism of the medical community.

Tarnishing the medical profession
Dr Herbert Luswata, the UMA president accused the controversial musician of bringing disrepute to the medical profession in the video.
"We demand that the entertainment industry ceases misusing our clinical coats and stethoscopes as this undermines the professionalism of our medical community and erodes public trust," he said.

Incidentally, Gravity officially released the music video on YouTube around the same time the medical doctors were addressing the press.

The singer had earlier last week dropped teaser pictures from the video shoot, which went viral and likely angered the medical practitioners, triggering their action.
By the publication of this report, the video had over 2000 views.
